I spent the my Monday at LACMA

with my friend Sara.

I saw several really great pieces

by a lot of really great artists.

But the best of all was this:

Metropolis II

the same artist who designed Urban Lights:

I had to fight back tears when I saw Metropolis II.

We spent almost an hour walking through the display

taking dozens of photos

watching as the cars and trains began to move

then we walked through another exhibition

{which I'll tell you about another day}

but, before we left, we visited Metropolis II again.

Oh man, I love it.

I want to recreate it in my own home...

so I can watch it all the time.
