I love the smell of brand new 3-ring binders.

We walked through Target today and I couldn't help but smile when we walked past the school supplies. The "Seasonal" section is now all pens, pencils, markers, folders, etc...things that make most kids scream with the sad reminder that fall is almost here.

I, however, find so much enjoyment in buying school supplies that I actually am a tad remorseful that I will not be attending classes this semester and so will not be needing any new pencil sharpeners or protractors. Oooh! Or a brand new box of 64 Crayola crayons that are all unused with the flatened tips.

So if you see me walking around with a notebook...chuck-full of dividers, college ruled paper, and a small pencil pouch...you know it's because, much like a chubby girl coming home from school to the smell of fresh baked cookies, I just couldn't resist.
