A Little Love For GoDaddy.com

In effort to reach one of the goals on my Go Mighty List, on Thursday evening, I bought my very own domain from GoDaddy.com. I honestly had no idea what I was doing, but it was so cheap ($0.99!) I thought, Why not?!

So I made the purchase. In fact, I bought two, just in case.

But when I tried to link the new URL to my blog, I couldn't figure it out...so I gave up. Well, first I sent an email to a friend asking for his help...and then I gave up.

Yesterday, a rep from GoDaddy called to ask if I had any questions following my purchase. I told her about my issue linking the two sites and while we were on the phone, she sent me a link with step-by-step instructions to make it happen. She laughed when she saw my new URL on file, "Oh, I like that! That's clever!" and then told me to call back if I had any trouble or needed help with anything else.

I know this sounds like a sponsored post, but I can guarantee that this blog is nowhere near cool enough for sponsored posts; I just wanted to share what a great customer service experience I had with this company...and let you know that I'm one step closer to a non-blogspot URL and a full-on blog redesign!

So mom, Erin (my two readers!)--get excited...there are many more posts to come.
