I made salad all the time while I was there....you need to find Moses the vegetable man outside of Transmatt. Just wash it real good with bottled water. I have olive oil and balsamic vinegar over at my house. With tomatoes, cucumber and some red onion...yum! By the way, even though the other boys thought I should COOK it..because raw it looked like "sheep food"...Elvis LOVED salad. Another reason to love him! Oh, and I am bring lettuce seeds with me when I come back so that we can grow our own "spring mix" at Oasis House!
PS...I am learning how to bake French Bread and how to make cheese for when I come back. If we got a goat....hmmmmm?
