What If...

What if you were coming over to my new house for dinner?

What would you want to eat?

(This is my way of double-checking to see if I have every appliance, ingredient and object necessary to entertain.)

Additional Note: In my head I keep coming back to, if I have a microwave, a TV and a couch, the rest will work itself out...but I like to be prepared.

I like marinated grilled chicken, vegitables, and iced tea with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries for dessert, Do you have that?

something in a crock pot

p.s. word verification is "sqvynla"...why does that remind me of the word vanilla?

pizza with fresh dough rolled with a rolling pin and cut with a pizza cutter...

strawberry lemonade and then something that had to be sifted to be made...

Depends on the season: in the summer definitely something grilled, fresh, fun.
Winter: pasta, chili, soup.

I got it: I am getting you a crockpot for winter, there's nothing like coming home from work to the smell of warm soup on a Winter night.

in the summertime...I am always thoroughly impressed with a shave ice machine with various flavors ranging from bubble gum to pina colada...

however...I would consider myself more of a snacker and would therefore require the following:

1. Various nuts
2. Cheez-its
3. Fruit Snacks
4. Pretzels

In addition to that, I would also assume that upon my arrival, you would want to enjoy my homemade bean dip, which would require the following:

1. Two cans of Rosarita Refried Beans w/ green chili and lime

2. One Taco Bell seasoning packet :)

3. Two tablespoons of light sour cream

4. Half a cup of three chesse blend

5. Two tablespoons of Trader Joe's medium salsa

6. Three packets of Taco Bell mild sauce

7. Half of a lime

8. One bag of Trader Joe's salted tortilla chips

Hey!! Have a Pampered Chef party!! You can get TONS of free stuff and have an "open house" party at the same time! I know a lady who sells it! You can even make a wish list of things you want and people MAY buy them for you if you want!
I am all in for that!!! You certainly go to enough baby and wedding showers for people to come to that for you!
Let me know!
:)

I would like some delicious grilled asparagus like I just ate at dinner. I would like my dinner guest to be David Hughes.

Kudos to julie trying to pawn off a pampered chef party! Good idea with the crock pot. Some of your friends are a little high maintenance, when it comes to the food. I like the cheet-o guy. When you're cookin for him make room for one more! What about a George Foreman grill? Don't forget a thingy to drain pasta noodles, and a really big pot. Katie is always telling me I need a really big pot.
