As of today, I am the proud renter of a condo that has all of the necessities:
Electricity
Gas
Water
Cable
Wireless Internet
Toilet paper, soap, Ziploc bags
I called around all morning (while designing final slides and creating a Presidential trivia game) to have all of the utilities turned on.
Then tonight, when I went to have dinner with my family, my mom surprised me with a laundry basket full of home products...in addition to the aforementioned: paper towels, detergent, a dustpan...it was full!
A small part of me is wishing that it wasn't conference week, just so I could go get a start on moving in...oh well, the conference will be amazing and then I can move in all next week! Can't wait...
