MLKJ Day

5 Things I Did Not Know About "The Rev":

1. He was the youngest man (at the time) to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
2. He was name Time magazine's Man of the Year in 1963.
3. On his third march to Montgomery, the "Stars for Freedom" rally contained performances by Sammie Davis, Jr. and Tony Bennett.
4. His house was bombed during the Bus Boycotts.
5. Apparently, August 28 (the day MLKJ made his "I Have a Dream Speech") is called "Dream Day"

Wonder what else he would have accomplished had he not been assassinated at such a young age...

I also wonder how many of these I would have known had I bothered to pay attention in school...
