I looked for this clip, but could not find it.
When Brittany Murphy hosted SNL, around the release of 8Mile, she had a "rap-off"* with Amy Poehler. That is still, in my mind, one of the best opening monologues I've seen on the show.
*Due to the fact that I am a white woman who does not listen to rap, I am unaware of the correct term for a rap-off...is it a spar? a duel? What is the correct word?
