Pluto is no longer an official planet.
Our solar system now consists of 8 "classical planets" and 3 "dwarf planets" (of which Pluto is one).
Apparently this decision was made in August...I learned about it through People Magazine's Best and Worst of 2006. (Which will play a large role in my training for World Series of Pop Culture)

Are you kidding me right now? I expect you to know these kinds of things, Allison. All that pop culture filing your head means no room for this type of stuff I guess. :)
