Yesterday, during a meeting with the High School team, Tim shared about his friend's daughter, who is 8-years old and has been raising money for water wells through Charity:Water.
She has been working in her community and saving money, in addition to receiving donations from friends and family members. Since she started {only about 6 months ago} she has already raised almost $5000. {The cost of one well is $5000 and will provide clean drinking water for an entire community.}
Tim was sharing that for her birthday, Riley asked her friends not to bring gifts, but to, instead, give to Charity:Water.
I was reading her blog this morning...and feeling challenged to give more. And do more.
