Mrs. Katie Hunt

This is my friend, Katie.

I know she'll be mad about this picture...but I love it.

{We were at my house on my last full day before moving to Kenya...and she's wearing all of the "doesn't belong stuffed in a tub" stuff: my Carrie Bradshaw hat, my Jackie-O glasses, my Nana's fur coat, and my pink rain boots--not pictured--sorry}

I spent a majority of today with Katie: lunch at Taco Bell, a trip to Home Goods, a pick-up of Kayla and of course, some coffee.

We laughed and joked about all sorts of things including obesity, KitchenAid mixers, my future husband and my dislike of Peet's Coffee.

I really adore Katie. I'm so glad that she is a part of my life...and I am so honored that I get to be a part of her wedding at the end of the month. I was even asked to sing, though I'm nervous that she'll want to sing at my wedding, too...and I've already heard the song she's written...yikes!

Katie, I like you...but please, please don't expect to sing that wedding song in public.
