Yes! Blue Note album art is considered the quintessential "cool" jazz art. There's a great book that is dedicated just to showing the whole history. Many people have copied it (remember when you saw Joe Jackson? His CD Body & Soul was a direct ripoff). Even my own band (http://www.hifiquintet.com) has borrowed the style. Love it - glad you appreciate it too!
