We worked on The Refinery for a while this morning...and there are so many fun projects left for the next few days (I get to help build a replica of the front of the building out of recyclables!)
I have some old pictures from the day we moved in to our Tent...and to look at them now and see all that has changed is so fun...so I intentionally looked for the unfinished bits...
I will take some more as things progress, which is really quick. I feel like there are dozens of new pieces every time I go in.
Here are just a few of the pictures I took today:
Katie really taking advantage of Overall Day... The Student Ministries Baptismal
Ryanne spent the morning making sure the sand was evenly dispersed.
Bethany (I promise, she's in this picture) and Zack power-hosed and scrubbed the roof
Quite a few people (including these with blogs: Allison, Riley, and Katie) helped to build the rocks in the skate park
Alanna, Allison, Matt, Danny made a Global Soles wall. (I helped off and on)
J Bakes helped with the skate park, too. He was sad to have missed the photo of the team...and then kinda sad that I took this picture which, he thought, made him look like he didn't help and just stood by the cooler all day.
These men put up the entryway piece (includes the definition of refinery)
Here's the partially completed Refinery logo which will be "Jurassic Parked" (the letters will be filled with amber) this week
Here's the furniture and decoration awaiting placement
The gym...also the Wildside room
Katie and Ryanne are so excited to decorate
We are exhausted...and it's only 11am
A peek at the Global Soles wall
The giant (foam) fan...and the view from the front door
Our soon-to-be information booth
