Irrational Fear #3

Oh man. I am totally freaked out just thinking about writing this.

I am--100%--completely and ridiculously afraid of kids in scary movies.

1. Ghost kids
2. Whispering kids
3. Laughter of unseen children

The combination of these three is what lead to my belief that "The Sixth Sense" is the scariest movie ever created. When I saw it, I had to sleep with the lights and radio on for three days. I've never seen it again. I'm still afraid to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I'm totally freaked out now, thinking about it.

I'm going to have to watch an episode of FRIENDS before bed to take my mind off of the little barfing girl in the tent...or the crazy mom in the kitchen...or the scariest part--the upstairs closet when he gets locked in at the birthday party! Or the kids in the school hallway.

Oh gosh, I am SO scared right now...stupid nighttime blogging...why didn't I post this early in the morning? Then I would have all day to forget about it!

You are SO related to me... I think I'm your mother. I don't like any children in scary movies at all. I hate that scary way they sing ring around the rosies in the background.

Here's the thing. Kids don't whisper. Therefore, whispering kids is fake.

Now if you were in the children's section of a haunted library, that'd be different.

did you ever see the ring? you probably shouldn't. i lost sleep for about a month after seeing that.

oh, and you knew the barfing girl is mischa barton, right? that might make it less scary. maybe.

creepy. I believe that The Exorcism of Emily Rose is in first place. I basically watched the whole thing through my blanket. So that I couldn't see their faces, but I got the basics of what was going on. I Highly recommend this method, but not the movie.
