I've noticed, in the last few days, that I say this a lot.
For example:
* LOST was excellent both last week and tonight. My response, "I'd like to write them a letter to say good job on making things interesting."
* A student didn't show up at the Mexico reunion. My response, "I'd like to write him a letter and tell him I missed him."
* Staples wanted to charge way too much money for some color copies. My response, "I want to write them a letter and tell them they shouldn't charge this much."
The problem is, I don't ever write these letters. Some of them are probably best unwritten, but a few of them may just be nice. Who doesn't want a letter saying "I think you are very good at playing Jim Halpert. I believe that you love Pam and I cried when you kissed in the end of season 2."? Seriously. That's slightly creepy, but also kinda nice.
I think my goal for this month will be to actually write at least two of the letters that I say I will write...and then blog about it.
