Most volumes are too loud for me.
Many people are too adventurous for me.
My bedtime is earlier than the average 24-year old.
This weekend, I have not been asleep before 3am. Once because of my chatty friend Katie...other nights because of programming details.
What's going to happen when I'm 60? Will all of this flip-flop? What if I'm adventurous, party-going, and bass-pumping.

You are not an old woman. You are just a conservative young woman with really good hearing and a great appreciation for the gift of sleep.
I am sure when you are 60 (and I am 78) you will still be telling me (and everyone else!) to talk softer.
