Last night I was trying to explain a "blog" to my Grandparents. Yikes!
They could not figure it out.
I was saying things like "Online Diary", "My Own Website"...blank stares.
You might be thinking, "Well, they were born before computers existed, maybe they don't understand the technology"...
Oh no, they're in their early 70s...and have computers and TiVo and wireless internet...AND, any man capable of sending dozens of semi-entertaining email forwards each day, can use a computer...
I began the explanation with my Grandma, she turned to my Grandpa and said, "Allison was just telling me about her Google"...
BLOG is not in her vocabulary, but GOOGLE is.
